Taipei Arena

Introduction

Taipei Arena is located at the intersection of Dunhua North Road and Nanjing East Road, formerly the Taipei Municipal Baseball Stadium. At the end of year 2000, the Taipei City Government demolished the old baseball field, and constructed the Taipei Arena now able to house over 15,000 seats. On December 1st, 2005, it was inaugurated under the official name "Taipei Arena".

The main stadium pitch size is 76m x 41.5m. As the retractable seats fully extended, the size still remains at 60m x 29.5m. It is fully equipped with administrate spaces. Not only does that optimize the experience for watching competitive sports, but it also supports multimedia experience such as performance arts, concerts, and etc. up to 13,500 seats. For proximal-style concert stage, small-scale events, it can hold up to 10,000 seats.

2.MRT

  • Take the Lake Line (Nangang Exhibition Center - Zoo), get off at Nanjing Road station, walk east 512 meters (about 10 minutes) or ride the bus to the "Nanjing Dunhua Junction" bus stop.
  • Take Bannan Line to the north after Zhongxiao Dunhua Station walk 1,144 meters (about 20 minutes), or ride the bus in the "City Stadium station" or "Taipei Academy" stop.
  • Take Danshui line in the Zhongshan Station, turn to take the bus to the "Nanjing Dunhua Junction" bus stop.
